The 2022 Commonwealth Games is being held in Birmingham, England between July 28th and August 8th, 2022.The goal of the games is to unite the Commonwealth family through sport. More than 6,000 athletes representing 72 nations and territories are set to compete in 19 sports over 11 days.The official mascot for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games is Perry, a multi-coloured bull. The 2022 Games will be the first time West Midlands has played host to the event, following London 1934, and Manchester 2002. The opening ceremony will take place at Alexander Stadium, Birmingham at 7pm, Thursday July 28th.
